The basics
Eight gyms and a nine-chapter main story, "Dawn of Darkness" — Team
Eclipse, Noctis, and what's sealed under Lunar Cave.
721 Pokemon in the Pokedex, spanning the first six generations.
Real multiplayer: you see other trainers walking around, trade with them,
and battle them. Battles are run by the server, so they can't be cheated locally.
Shinies are rare and permanent, with their own sprites and icons.
Every Pokemon has a real ability and can carry a held item —
both shown on its summary screen.
The Fairy type is in, with the full modern type chart.
A day and night cycle tied to real time.
Mega Evolution
All 48 Mega forms exist. Each needs its species' Mega Stone.
Stones cannot be bought. The only source is a very rare drop after
defeating a Gym Leader, Elite Four member or the Champion — rematches
count (gyms daily, the League weekly), so keep winning.
Right-click the stone in your bag and give it to the matching Pokemon to
hold. In battle a MEGA button appears in the top bar: click it and
your Pokemon Mega Evolves on its next move, keeping the form for the whole
battle. Once per battle.
Mega Stones can't be knocked off, stolen or traded away by battle moves.
Legendary encounters
Every wild encounter — grass, surfing or fishing — has a tiny chance to be a
legendary Pokemon instead. The whole server hears about it when someone
finds one.
Catching it doesn't keep it: it vanishes in a flash of light and
blesses you with 1–3 timed perks (boosted shinies, EXP, money, drops or
rare spawns, for hours). Your Pokedex still records it. Check active perks with
/perks or the top-bar icon.
Beware the ones with a dark aura.
Guilds
Found your own guild with /guild create <name>, then grow it
with /guild invite <player> — they join with
/guild accept.
Guilds have a dedicated Guild chat tab: anything you type there goes to
your guildmates only.
Your guild name appears on your Trainer Card for everyone who inspects you.
Manage things with /guild members, /guild leave,
/guild kick and /guild disband (leader only).
Move tutors
In Professor Bailey's Lab, the Move Tutor re-teaches the Egg moves a
Pokemon could have learned by breeding.
The Special Tutor next to him teaches the ultimate starter moves —
Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn and Hydro Cannon to fully-evolved starters — and
Draco Meteor to any Dragon-type.
Battle Tower
Talk to Tower Host Selene in the Elite Four lobby to run an endless 3-on-3
gauntlet: your first three party Pokemon fight as level-50 copies (your real
team is never touched), climbing a win streak for prize money and item rewards.
A run completes at 21 straight wins; after that the tower reopens for you the
next week. Disconnect mid-run and you rejoin the same battle on your next login.
Check your streak with /tower.
Getting around the world
Surf, Cut and Rock Smash work as field moves once a party member knows
them and you've earned the right badge.
Fishing: buy a rod, then look for the rippling fishing spots along
the water's edge. Casting works at a spot — calm water gives you nothing. Better
rods reach better Pokemon.
Running shoes and the bicycle speed you up; the bike route needs
both the bicycle and the eighth badge.
Party, PC and trading
Right-click a party member for the menu — summary, or send it to chat so others
can click and inspect it.
In the PC, drag a Pokemon with the left mouse button to move it between
slots; right-click opens summary, withdraw and release.
Trading covers Pokemon, items and money, with both sides confirming.

The item hotbar
Six quick-use slots sit in the top bar: press F1–F6 to use the item in
a slot, and configure them with /hotbar. In a wild battle F1, F2 and F3
throw Poke, Great and Ultra Balls.
Supporting the server
PDoD is free and stays free. Donations cover the server bill
and come with thirty days of thank-you perks — a gold name tag, better shiny odds,
bonus EXP and cosmetic skins. Nothing that wins battles for you.
